SPARC Annual Summer Picnic
Many Thanks to Event Sponsor Assemblywoman Catharine Baker
For the fifth year in a row, SPARC is fortunate to hold this event on the lovely grounds of historic Morgan Manor in Los Altos Hills. The Tudor Revival mansion, built for businessman Percy Morgan and his family in 1916, is extraordinary and we owe special thanks to its owners for sharing its stunning gardens with us once again.
Republican candidate for Governor John Cox will keynote this Bay Area event, along with featured guests Assemblywoman Catharine Baker, Steven Bailey, Candidate for CA Attorney General, and Mark Burns, Candidate for Board of Equalization, District 2.
After beating former Los Angeles Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa and a long list of Republicans and Democrats to achieve one of the top two spots in the run-off, businessman John Cox has been traveling the State of California meeting with voters to let them know, “Help is on the way.” Most recently, he visited a DMV office and spoke with disgruntled Californians who were waiting for multiple hours to conduct their transactions, despite the DMV receiving millions in additional funding to alleviate long lines. Cox is also working closely with the campaign to support Proposition 6 to repeal the gas tax increase with the stated goal of making California affordable again for middle class families.
Tickets can be purchased at the door if you bring your check payable to SPARC to the event.
