What does the name SPARC stand for? |

SPARC stands for South Penninsula Area Republican Coalition. Obviously, the name is intended to convey the overarching goal of the organization, which is to add spark to the local Republican communities. By the way, "South Peninsula" should be construed in a rather broad sense, as SPARC welcomes members from all parts of the San Francisco Bay Area. In fact, we have members from Alameda and Santa Cruz counties, not to mention San Mateo and San Francisco counties.

SPARC provides speaking events and activities to provide local support for the GOP for the communities of: Burlingame, Hillsborough, San Mateo, Belmont, San Carlos, Atherton, Menlo Park, Portola Valley, Woodside, Stanford, Palo Alto and East Palo Alto, Mountain View, Los Altos, Los Altos Hills, Sunnyvale, Santa Clara, Cupertino, Saratoga, Campbell, and San Jose.
